So Much Excitement!

Hey Everyone!

Wow, what an EXCITING few weeks it has been!  Since March 1st our team has grown by an AMAZING 380 members!  You are to be congratulated for your efforts.  As a follow on, many of you may be in search of Spring/Summer Idea Books for your new team members.  Email me if you need Idea Book as I have a few gals who have some to sell.  njsmith@wolfenet.com .

The other exciting debut was Celebrate Your Creativity - the new and much awaited customer newsletter provided to us by CTMH.  I hope all of you will make great use of this new tool.  If you did opt in and have them sent to your customers, you can track your stats on the CTMH website by clicking on "Newsletter" under Marketing then click on the stats in the boxes below.  If you missed this one, go to "Newsletters" and click on the "Send Monthly Newsletters to my customers" button.  The next one will go out on May 1st.  Even if you don't take advantage of the customization options, your customers won't be able to tell that anything is omitted. The day it went out, I got a $121.00 online order from a customer I hadn't been in contact for a long time!  WooHoo!!!!

BUSINESS BIT:  Brought to you from the Direct Sales Classroom

Put the Labels DOWN!

Are YOU still placing your labels on your catalogs and inventory?
While it’s a fantastic way to ensure your customers know how to get in touch with you and makes it easy for them to reorder their favorite products, you’re wasting your time. Yes, you do need your label on your products and catalogs to remind your clients, but are YOU personally placing labels? Why? Stop it! Do you have children at home? Do you have friends or family members who are looking for some way to help you but just don’t know how or what to do? Well then it’s time to put the labels down and let them help!  I have very fond memories of stamping my Mom’s catalogs (she didn’t have pre-printed labels then) with her name and number and laying them out carefully so the ink wouldn’t smudge. I took great pride in being able to help her, and it made me feel really special that I got to take a part in her business.
Placing labels can be a time consuming process, and while your helpers may not get them on as perfectly straight as YOU would, so what! Let them help, stop getting stuck in the small details and get to work on what you do best!

SHOUT-OUTS:
I would like to give very special recognition to Sr. Director Linda Sturdivant from San Jose, CA
Linda was chosen to be part of a prestigious panel of direct sales experts as part of the FREE Mind Aware Teleseminar www.themindaware.com series moderated by Dana Wilde.  Many of the other panel members have been featured speakers at CTMH Conventions and Leadership Conferences.  People such as Belinda Ellsworth, Mary Christiansen, Karen Phelps and Sue Rusch.  Linda's call was on Tuesday and I have listened to many of the calls and felt that Linda's presentation on Overcoming Phone Phobia was one of the BEST.    www.themindaware.com/Linda   I think it will be available for a little while longer as a replay.  There are still 7 more calls left in this great FREE series.

CREATIVE CORNER:  Here is some of the art from the Washington Connected Hearts Team Meeting on March 31st.  The group decided that everyone should use Stella papers.  The great thing about this is that everyone who participated went home with enough artwork to create a nice display board for the Stella Paper packet and also showed off some of our great Cricut images.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK:

No More Excuses
It’s been said that some of the smartest people make lousy entrepreneurs. How can that be? The problem is that some people are so smart they can easily predict all of the problems, roadblocks and hurdles they’ll need to overcome to succeed. They can think of all kinds of reasons why an idea won’t work. This foresight can crush possibilities and dreams. When you want something, do you focus on the positive things, or the barriers? To reach your goals, you have to really want them. More importantly, you have to believe that you can do it. Think more about why you CAN make it happen instead of why you can’t.
